Lexus Announces 2023 Global Sales Results

Toyota City, Japan, Jan 30, 2024 – (JCN Newswire) – Lexus has announced 2023 global sales results.

Global sales results for the period from January to December 2023 reached a record high of 824,258 units (an increase of 132% compared to the previous year). This growth was driven by strong demand, particularly in North America and Japan, as well as the recovery of solid parts supply contributing to increased sales. Lexus’ electric vehicle sales ratio*1 reached a record high of 47% through the expansion and steady sales of its electric vehicle lineup, including the new “RX” and the unique battery EV model “RZ.” Additionally, in the Japanese domestic market, strong sales of key models such as the NX and RX resulted in a record high of 94,647 units (an increase of 229% compared to the previous year).Lexus Global President Takashi Watanabe.
