Nissan has developed four New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and are now showing them at Auto China 2024 in Beijing.

Nissan has been working on four New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and they will now be shown at Auto China 2024 in Beijing. The concept cars were developed in collaboration with local partner Dongfeng.

In addition, the automaker presents a variety of electric models that aim to emphasize the company’s current development and future trends in the electric field. In addition to the four new concept vehicles, another NEV was announced. This means that five new cars will be introduced to the Chinese market by the 2026 financial year.

Four new concept cars – two fully electric models and two plug-in hybrids – are intended to serve the future needs of Chinese customers more specifically:

– The Nissan “Epoch” concept is an electric sedan for urban and suburban residents who want to shape their lives with new technology. The concept car features an AI-powered Internet of Things (IoT). A virtual personal assistant makes life easier and more comfortable through communication that recognizes and interprets emotions.

– The Nissan “Epic Concept” is perfect for adventure seekers who want to explore on the weekends. An electric SUV can drive freely in the city and on the highway and can also be used as a mobile power source, for example providing electricity when camping or at outdoor parties. At the same time, the technology on board creates a sense of calm.

– The Nissan “Era Concept” plug-in hybrid SUV fits the urban lifestyle and is suitable for young business people who use their car as a second home. With an integrated entertainment system and zero-gravity seats, the combination of the advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system and active air suspension provides a comfortable and safe driving experience.

– Concept Nissan “Evo” is ideal for special occasions and weekend trips with the whole family. In addition to advanced driving assistance and safety features, an AI-powered personal assistant supports the driver.

Nissan’s strategy is “In China, for China, from China to global.” The focus is on the company’s value creation and overall competitiveness in the Chinese market.
