New-generation Outlander PHEV: Mitsubishi Motors returns to the European D-SUV segment in 2024 – Autonieuws

Mitsubishi Motors Europe continues to expand its range and invest in the European market. Following the introduction of the new generation ASX and the all-new COLT, which will be launched in autumn 2023, Mitsubishi Motors will bring its flagship to Europe in 2024: the Outlander PHEV.

The new award-winning Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is already building on the success of the first generation plug-in hybrid SUV. Mitsubishi has sold 200,000 units in Europe since its launch in 2013. The next-generation family SUV has received more than 20 awards* for design and technology in the past two years.

Our new Outlander PHEV model is part of the 4th generation Outlander and takes Mitsubishi Motors in Europe to the next level with its award-winning design and technology won.”

High-quality sensations using proven technology

With a design language of Sculpted Sides, the familiar Power Shield at the front and the unique Hexaguard Horizon design at the rear, the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is also undoubtedly a product of Mitsubishi Motors. The design features safety and strength and combines this with a high level of quality, performance and Japanese craftsmanship for a premium feel.

The new Outlander PHEV features the second generation of Mitsubishi Motors’ advanced Plug-in Hybrid system with two engines and all-wheel drive with collector DNA. The technology was introduced in the previous generation Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross PHEV in 2021 and was well received by buyers in Europe.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has the latest driver assistance and infotainment technology. As with other Mitsubishi Motors models, the technology and systems of the new Outlander PHEV excel in safety, comfort and ease of operation.

The new Outlander PHEV will appear on the European market in 2024.
