Midway through the 2021 model year, the current generation of the Peugeot 3008 (buy a used Peugeot 3008 now) received a facelift. It underwent a facelift and other enhancements. In contrast, this implies that the following generation will eventually follow. And now, the first spy photos reveal a car in very early development testing that looks nothing like the present SUV.

Therefore, we still do not know what the next Peugeot 3008 will be, as the manufacturer continues to conceal the technology beneath the Citron C5 Aircross’s body.
Citron’s back doors appear to be somewhat shorter than the C5’s, therefore it does not quite match the Peugeot model. The rear window chrome strip is also rather noticeable. Additionally, the Citron-bound Peugeot stands taller on its wheels than the standard Aircross.
The Peugeot 3008 may be slightly larger than its predecessor, but the difference will not be significant. This gives the 2009 SUV additional space for freight and passengers, giving it more breathing room. The inside of the third generation will be overhauled and fitted with the most advanced technologies and services.

The newly built SUV is currently at too early of a stage of development to discuss driving. We expect Peugeot to sell the 3008 with gasoline, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric powertrains. The current iteration of the 3008 hybrids with all-wheel drive produces 300 horsepower and 520 Newton meters of torque.
While the camouflage changes, we may get our first look at the new Peugeot 3008 in its production form. The same holds true for premieres and commercial releases. The formal end of production of the new Peugeot model should not occur until the middle of 2023. Before the 3008 arrives in dealerships, the new year will likely be welcomed twice more.
The rear design of the upcoming Peugeot 3008 is just as noteworthy as the front, featuring a prominent diffuser and sleek taillights. While recent spy shots conceal the specific design elements, renderings show a sleek and stylish D-pillar. The vehicle is expected to take inspiration from the newly revealed 408, although the final product may have a distinct rear profile. The true design of the vehicle will not be known until more of the camouflage is removed.
The engine specifications of the vehicle are currently unknown. It is likely that Peugeot will offer a range of powertrain options, including gas, plug-in hybrid, and electric versions. Additional information on the specifications will not be available until the official unveiling, which is still some time away. The current 3008 hybrid model offers 300 horsepower (223 kilowatts) and 384 pound-feet (520 Newton-meters) of torque.
The manufacturing process for the second-generation Peugeot 3008 has just begun. Recently, photographers were able to capture the crossover in its production body, which had previously been concealed. The official debut of the vehicle is not expected before the end of the year, with sales for the new 3008 beginning in the first half of 2024 at the earliest.
