A little more like lemon candies than orange candies, you know. Otherwise, with its color it would make a great postal bus.
Exterior/body: Sassy takes first place on practicality with the Juke
So no one should confuse you with a DHL courier. In any case, the characteristics of the transporter are limited. 354 liters fit into the hybrid’s cargo area, while the Juke’s 1.0-litre turbo has 68 liters more. So: stop dreaming and get in, just look at the new 19-inch wheels designed first. Because outside is what it was creatively.
Interior: Nissan has fine-tuned the Juke here
The most important thing happened inside. Against the condition of its impossible body, the Japanese have tried to add as much as possible: more storage space through the extended glove compartment, the center of the hands and parking cameras with a higher resolution, which now provide a view all around and. 1.3 instead of 0.3 megapixels. The new N-Sport line has seats whose integrated headrests include speakers, but no adjustable lumbar support. Well, technically the Juke remains a small car.
Nissan has borrowed the infotainment from larger models. From now on, there is always a 12.3-inch screen in the center with full HD resolution, which mirrors the smartphone wirelessly and is more responsive. On Tatscher, but also, for example, on addresses that are not strictly spoken according to the “city, street, house number” scheme.
The aids are also operated via the driver’s display, which is now also fully digital. Good idea: their new, customizable mode. Once properly configured, the speed warning system, lane keeping assist and attention assist can be switched off with two clicks on the left side of the steering wheel after starting.
Engine/chassis: More economical fun than actual driving fun
In fact, nothing has changed with the engine and chassis. Nissan says it has slightly modified the hybrid program. A well-handled Juke with this driver still runs quietly, but it’s limited to its 143 system horsepower and with the superlative 6.2 liters in our laps it’s neither thirsty nor economical. According to WLTP, Nissan itself says 4.7 liters.
Price: The Juke is the most expensive hybrid
From this point of view, the 114 hp petrol engine cannot be a bad choice. It starts cheaply, from 24,790 euros, and can also be ordered with a double clutch transmission for 1,800 euros more. Unlike the gasoline engine with manual transmission, the two-heart hybrid cost an extra 4,700 euros. All three drives can be connected to each of the five equipment lines: Acenta, N-Connecta (euro 2000), Tekna (euro 4900), N-Design (euro 5500) and N-Sport (euro 5500) are available.
