Peugeot – e-3008: And the lion roars quietly…

Wow! The French made a great revolution. Number 3 of the 3008 generation has an eye-catching SUV design (in the spirit of aerodynamics), powerful and elegant at the same time. The 4.54 meter long lines of the five-door/five-seater are “cat-like”, as the Peugeot people insist. Unfortunately, Peugeot has set itself the goal of offering a full range of electric cars from 2025 and by 2030, 100 percent of the brand’s new car sales in Europe should be electric models. Therefore, the electric battery 3008 is ahead. It starts with 210 hp and a 73 kWh battery (front-wheel drive has a range of 527 km). A version with 320 hp and all-wheel drive (range up to 525 km, also 73 kWh battery) and – as an example – a long-range version, with which you can travel almost 700 km without stopping (230 hp, Front- wheel drive, capacity of 98 kWh battery). DC charging is possible up to 160 kW the power level can be increased from 20 to 80 percent in half an hour. To round off the offer, we will also launch the 3008 as a hybrid (136+15.6 hp).

A look at the interior: The powerful 21-inch panoramic screen, which combines a head-up display with a touch screen, is immediately visible (standard on the GT). Example: Front seats that have been awarded the prestigious AGR (Campaign for Healthy Backs) seal of quality. With a trunk volume of 520 liters under the compartment shelf, and there are also 17 storage options.

Clever: Semi-automatic lane change assistant – changes lanes for the driver if necessary and steers to a new lane when the indicator and the “OK” button on the steering wheel are pressed. After what: The E-3008 has the smallest turning circle (10.6 meters) among 100 percent of all electric SUVs in its class.

Price: e-3008 with 210 hp (minimum top speed 170 km / h) and 73 kWh battery from 48,450 euros *; 3008 Hybrid (136+15.6 HP) from 39,330 euros*.
