Police officers drove a car with a child who needed help

District officers from the Kolbuszów division yesterday drove a passenger car with a child who had breathing problems. The officers were stopped on the road by the girl’s parents who were taking her to the hospital. The police escort made it possible to quickly cover the route from Płazówka to the hospital in Kolbuszów, where the child was given immediate assistance.

Yesterday around 18.00 in the evening, district officers from Kolbuszów units conducted business activities in Dzikowiec district. In Płazówka, a police car was stopped by a woman driving a Kia. A resident of Kolbuszów poviat asked for help to get to the hospital quickly with a few-year-old child who needed urgent help.

The child’s father was also in the car. The woman said the girl had trouble breathing. He also added that the child was swollen, suspecting that he might have been bitten by an insect.

Since time is very important in such situations, the officers, using light signals and sounds, started driving with the child in need of help.

They informed the officer on duty about the incident, who alerted the medical staff about the girl’s arrival. District officials drove the car to the hospital itself, where the child was under the care of doctors.
