As we continued towards Hamburg, there was a traffic accident on the B 404. The Peugeot first overtook the Mercedes and backed up in front of a construction site. He went to the right on the grass verge, veered left into the oncoming lane and collided with a concrete safety barrier.

That’s why the Peugeot driver ran away

The driver, a 19-year-old from Lüneburg, got out of his car. His 18-year-old passenger suffered a shock and was then treated and taken to hospital.

The police quickly discovered the reason for the escape: the 19-year-old did not have a valid driver’s license. He also drove under the influence of narcotics. An initial drug test completed voluntarily responded positively to THC.
