Polestar has launched the production of the Polestar 3 SUV at its plant in Chengdu, China: a second production site is also expected to come into operation in South Carolina, USA.

Polestar 3: Electric SUV with more than 600 km of range

Launched more than a year ago, the Polestar 3 is a highly anticipated model: it is the brand’s first electric SUV. Based on the platform of the future Volvo EX90, the Polestar 3 spreads Height 4.90 metersoverall width of 2.12 meters and height of 1.61 meters, with a generous wheelbase of 2.99 meters, which already advertises great seating capacity.

Under the hood, the Polestar 3 has two electric motors, which provide a total power of 490 horsepower and 840 Nm of torque. As an option, the Performance package allows you to push these figures up to Horse power 517 and 910 Nm. Its 400 V lithium-ion battery, with a typical capacity of 111 kWhgives up 610 km of freedom according to the WLTP cycle.

Orders for the Polestar 3 have been open since October 12, 2022 in Europe, with prices starting at 89,900 euros in Germany.
