During the inauguration ceremony of Yamaha, which was held last week in Jakarta, Quartararo explained that the vacation time ran away from the plan due to the accident. Faced with the unexpected, he had to change his training routine.
“My holiday was not perfectly planned, as I injured my hand while riding motocross. But I continue to work non-stop. I did a lot of cardio to make sure I am 100% ready for the 2023 season”, insisted #20.
“I had an injury a month ago, but I feel better. Next week I will ride the bike again and I’m looking forward to it. It’s been a tough month, but I’m looking forward to training again on two wheels”, the pilot continued.
“I feel I’m ready to train, I wouldn’t say I’m ready to compete yet, I mean, I need to feel the bike, get the arm strength. I missed the time of the month when, usually, on winter weekends, we train with the bike. But, this year, I had to more dedication to the cardio part”, he insisted, making it clear, however, that the injury is no longer a problem.
