Only 3 million dollars, Bugatti Chiron is not popular anymore?

We’re used to seeing unique cars on auction sites, but it’s not every day we see a Bugatti Chiron. The latter, released in 2018, is one of only 500 cars produced (all versions combined) and boasts $500,000 in options.

The 2018 Bugatti Chiron was recently auctioned on the site Bring the Trailer. This beast with an 8L W16 engine developing almost 1,500 horsepower needs no start-up.. This model was delivered to the Bugatti dealership in Beverly Hills before being registered in Montana.

Its specialty is that it has $500,000 in options, including $315,000 for its blue-painted carbon emissions. The rest features a Nocturne blue painted grille, black painted dual tailpipes and various components such as a spoiler and a carbon diffuser. Next to the speedometer that shows up to 480 km/h, we see that this car has just 1,900 miles (or over 3,000 kilometers).

Which certainly explains why the auction was able to exceed $3 million, far from its original sale price of $3.5 million. Every kilometer traveled will cost a former Bugatti Chiron owner more than $160.
