After sports car manufacturer Spyker was declared bankrupt earlier this year, the brand now looks set to be revived. CEO Victor Muller announced today that the relaunch will take place after new investors are attracted.
Thanks to a financial injection from a group of investors led by Michail Pessis and Boris Rotenberg, both involved in racing and SMP Racing, the resumption of the exclusive sports car brand is possible. Three models are due to roll off the production line in 2022, including the D8 Beijing-to-Paris SUV, which was announced ten years ago.

Victor Muller, director of the remainder of the current Spyker, will also lead the new company. ‘With the agreement we have concluded, Spyker has a stronger foundation than before.’ According to the investor group, it is now necessary that the trademark rights be regained in order to resume production.
In addition to the three new models, Spyker also wants the familiar service centers which will be built on the Cote d’Azur of France, but also in the area near the borders of Luxembourg, Belgium and France.
