The first electric station wagon from Audi
The Ingolstadt company has announced the concept of the electric station A6 Avant e-tron wagon, which should be launched in 2024. The car should set records in several disciplines:
- Fast charging is possible
Thanks to the 800-volt technology, a charge capacity of 270 kilowatts at DC charging stations should be possible with the Audi A6 Avant e-tron concept. Therefore, the battery is charged from five to 80 percent in 25 minutes and should be able to fill a distance of 300 kilometers in ten minutes. - Long distance
With a battery size of up to 100 kWh, a range of 700 km according to WLTP should be achieved. This is also guaranteed by the low coefficient of drag, which according to Audi is 0.22.
The high-voltage system has the following components:
- high-voltage battery
Audi’s foundation is the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture. The battery module is located between the axles and makes a flat layout possible. - electric motors
In the most powerful version, two electric motors in the front and rear axles motivate the output of 350 kilowatts and a torque of 800 Newton meters. - Fast loading
AC charging is possible at up to 22 kilowatts (left and right), DC charging up to 270 kilowatts.
