The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has an all-new exterior design and high-quality interior that offers spacious seating for five people. The latest, fifth generation of Jeep’s large SUV is designed to offer comfort, luxury, safety and driving dynamics as well as the brand’s 4×4 capabilities. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is always a plug-in hybrid and is available from €85,400.

With the arrival of the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, the entire lineup has been consolidated and Jeep is solidifying its position as the greenest SUV brand in the world. The 4xe Plug-in Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine combined with a powerful electric motor. Combined power is 280 kW (375 hp). Maximum torque is a steady 637 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The electric vehicle is powered by a 17.3 kWh hybrid battery, which enables an electric range of up to 51 km (WLTP urban cycle).

Jeep offers the new Grand Cherokee 4xe in four versions; Limited, Trailhawk, Overland and Summit Reserve – all Plug-in Hybrids with a braked towing weight of 2,215 kg. It can be ordered immediately and is expected at a Dutch Jeep® dealer by the end of the year.

Small: the purest form of driving
Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe base price applies to Limited trim. It stands on 20-inch alloy wheels and is equipped with full LED lighting, among other things. Additional safety is ensured by, among other things, Forward Collision Warning (Full Speed) and Drowsy Driver Detection (fatigue detection). The Selec-terrain system ensures excellent traction on public roads and when the driver goes off-road. The interior includes heated and ventilated front seats, as well as an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch display and navigation and Uconnect online services. The Limited is available from €85,400.

Overland: the best of both worlds
With the Overland, the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe offers superior comfort along with true Jeep capability. Polished 20-inch wheels, chrome-colored dual tailpipes and body-colored side skirts give it an elegant yet attractive look. The interior has extra airiness thanks to the two-piece sliding/tilting roof. The multi-colored mood lighting and nappa leather seat upholstery in turn provide an additional elegant decoration. Consumer prices start at €92,900.

Summit Drive: the top version in the series
The Summit Drive is the top of the line in the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe lineup. This version stands on 21-inch polished wheels and offers its occupants unparalleled comfort. Full and luxurious equipment includes ventilated ‘Palermo’ seats, real walnut interior accents, McIntosh Audio with 19 speakers and an additional 10-inch infotainment display for passengers. All front seats are also 12-way electrically adjustable. The Summit Reserve Edition can be identified by special badging and platinum chrome exterior accents. Prices start at €101,400.

Trailhawk: fixed capacity
The Trailhawk trim level comes standard with class-leading off-road systems and features that take the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe Plug-in Hybrid’s off-road capabilities to the next level. 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires form the basis of the Quadra-Drive II system, along with an electronic rear lock and an off-road camera. The interior is comfortable and functional with leather/suede upholstery, ‘Capri’ style. The Trailhawk is also recognizable by its black roof and sleek black exterior accents, including the roof rails. The Trailhawk is available from €90,400.

The new Plug-in Hybrid Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe offers all the 4×4 capabilities that have made the American brand famous, including Quadra-Drive II 4×4 drivetrain, Quadra-Lift air suspension and Selec-Terrain traction management system with choice of five modes: Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud, Rock and Sports.
