Ten years have passed since the arrival on the market of the Lamborghini Huracan with its naturally aspirated V10. A great car that has undoubtedly contributed to the growth of the transalpine company.

The most exclusive Lamborghini Huracan?

The Lamborghini Huracan STJ was created on the basis of the Huracan STO. ST stands for “Super Trofeo”, while the word “Jota” recalls annex J of the FIA regulations, which sets out all the specifications of racing cars: a letter that was already used in the past for other Lamborghini models such as the Miura SVJ and the Aventador. SVJ.
To create this sports version, the engineers started from the “Super Trofeo Omologata” version, which was supplemented with exclusive equipment developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse engineers. There is a new special hood, two new carbon aerodynamic attachments and a rear wing with events increased by 3 ° compared to the standard model: a solution that guarantees a 10% increase in aerodynamic load.
On a purely aesthetic level, The Huracan STJ is available in two configurations designed by Lamborghini’s styling center. The first combines the color of the body in “Grigio Telesto” and the roof of “Nero Noctis” with details in “Rosso Mars” and “Bianco Isi”, all with the interior and seats in “Nero Cosmus Alcantara” with leather details and different “Rosso Alala” stitching. The second configuration is pure ‘Blu Eliadi’ with ‘Nero Noctis’ roof and ‘Rosso Mars’ and ‘Bianco Isi’ details.

Better than STO?

Mechanically, the new STJ shares almost everything with the STO, including 640 hp and 565 Nm it is managed through an LDF gearbox (Lamborghini Doppia Frizione) which is responsible for transmitting power to the rear wheels only. Thanks to the presence of four new adjustable shock absorbers directly from the track cars, the grip has been increased. “largely”, depending on the brand. In terms of tires, each of the new Huracans comes standard with Bridgestone Potenza Race tires, made with a special high-grip compound, mounted on 20-inch single-nut rims.

The new Lamborghini Huracan STJ will be produced in just 10 units. Prices have not been announced, but they must surely be higher than the 385,922 euros claimed for the Huracan STO.
