The Mazda 787B is back on the line for the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours

There are cars that have made motoring history and others that have become true legends, thanks to their success on and off the track: one of these cars is The Mazda 787B will take to the track again at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. which will take place within one month.

This year we celebrate 100 years of the legendary endurance race, and Mazda has decided to celebrate the anniversary by bringing its four-wheeled legend back to the tarmac that brought its glorious victory at the Sarthe circuit in 1991. the first Japanese car to succeed in the feat.

The 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place from 7 to 11 June, but on 9 and 10 June. Mazda 787B will do the demonstration laps driven by Yojiro Terada (the Japanese driver has completed 29 24 Hours of Le Mans in his career) and so those present will be able to enjoy the unmistakable sound of its V12 Wankel engine which to this day remains one of the most interesting hearing lessons.

After that, the car will be installed at the Le Mans Museum, then back on track from 30 June to 2 July 2023, at the Le Mans Classic event, where it will perform more commemorative laps. And speaking of the famous French endurance race, we remind you that in the special Garage 56 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023 there will be a NASCAR Chevrolet Camaro.
