This delicious Italian is now an affordable event

All those modern things are of no use to you. You just want four doors and a trunk, rear-wheel drive and a big petrol engine that, given the chance, also wants to accelerate. Old fashioned? So? You enjoy such an opportunity, again and again!

The variety of used cars is huge. You can find used cars everywhere at the dealership, through Gaspedal.nl and even on Facebook. Autovisie selects the three best used cars in the segment each week.

25,000 euro event

This week we are looking for a used car for 25,000 euros. Don’t you love this Alfa Romeo Giulia? Then watch the events of next Thursday and Saturday.

Alfa Romeo Giulia (2016 – 2023)

According to the brand’s tradition, the Giulia is a ‘real Alfa’. Appearance is a matter of taste, but it is definitely different. It drives as you’d expect from an Alfa: excellent road holding, good and precise steering, firm but certainly not too stiff suspension and with a six-speed gearbox you shift gears with pleasure. Used car also sounds good (but not as good as GTAm).

There is a rotary/push button on the center console for each type of function. The front seats are good, the back is a little for adults, but hey … you buy yourself! A good Giulia is easy to find, like the dark blue 2.0 T Super (147 kW, 2017, 118,000 km) for 24.950 euros in a car company in Bedum.

You should consider this when buying a used car

After a cold start, it is not wise to use all kinds of electrical work at the same time, since the alternator cannot work properly and this will cause malfunctions. A number of electrical faults occurring at the same time can be traced back to a particular fuse, which is ‘blown’ because the wiring harness is worn behind the center console. Really a little something for this occasion!

Incorrect engine oil or an oil level that is too low causes (much) less power. That’s not bad luck, just driver/owner negligence.
