Lincoln has successfully sold all eighty copies of the Continental Coach Door Special Edition, which will go on sale later this year. All copies are already sold one month after presentation.
All eighty copies have been exempted
Angie Kozleski, Lincoln Global Communications Manager, can confirm that all 80 copies have been sold. By American standards, a sedan with suicide doors was very expensive. Lincoln asked $110,000 each, more than twice what the regular Lincoln Continental is listed for.
Wheel height 15.24 cm
Compared to the regular Continental, the Continental Coach Door Edition has a 15.24 cm longer wheelbase. The extra space benefits the passengers in the back.
The Lincoln features two luxury seats in the back, of course finished in premium leather.
Biturbo V6
The luxury limousine is powered by a biturbo 3.0-liter V6 engine with 406 hp and 542 Nm. The Continental has three driving modes: Normal, Sport and Comfort.
Additional lighting
Lincoln won’t begin delivering the Continental Coach Door Edition until next summer. Due to the success of this version, Lincoln comes with a second batch. The additional version may go on sale soon. Lincoln is giving enthusiasts who missed out on a copy from the first batch an extra chance to get the car.
