Volkswagen Golf R 333: features, interior, engine and price

Volkswagen introduced exclusively for the first time Golf R 333 Limited Edition which will be given fairly 333 examples. Compared to previous special editions of the Golf (such as the 20 Years), this one will not be sold in Italy. Indeed, it will be released on its own in Germany at a price starting at 76,410 euros. This model can be ordered from tomorrow 2nd June. The first deliveries will begin in October.

333 HP engine

Volkswagen has taken the Golf R by customizing the look to make it more “meaningful”. The new Golf R 333 can be identified by a certain Lime Yellow Metallic color with a black roof and a black decal on the lower part of the sides. Then we have 19-inch Estoril wheels in black and blue painted brake calipers. The braking system comes from Brembo. Also, the car has semi-slick tires.

On the back stand out four titanium pipes made by Akrapovic which allows you to increase the sound of the engine. In terms of the interior, however, there is no particular difference compared to the Golf R. Therefore, we always get a sports steering wheel, front seats in nappa leather and a head unit with some details in carbon fiber. In addition, there is a classic badge that identifies the continuing number of the model.

The “beating heart” of the Volkswagen Golf R 333 Limited Edition is the turbo 2.0 TSI 4-cylinder 245 kW (333 HP) and 420 Nm of maximum torque. We still have the 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive. Speaking of performance, maximum speed reaches 270 km / hwhile it takes 4.6 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km / h.

Standard equipment for this limited series model includes, among other things, Matrix Led headlights, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function and a Harman Kardon audio system.
