while Apocalypse 6×6 will be able to stay sober

If the Defender is already a solid off-road vehicle that serves as a benchmark, it is not enough for the Apocalypse 6X6….

Apocalypse 6×6 is best known for turning 4x4s into six-wheeled monsters. But the tuner also knows how to make more than the usual four-wheel off-roaders.

Especially, their latest version of Land Rover Defender looks very tough and wild. But it’s not quite extreme. The company has installed a new suspension system, larger rims and tires, and other off-road modifications.

The most effective defender?

So it was the Land Rover Defender 110 that was used as a working basis. In particular, he received a suspension kit that raises the body by 22.8 cm. All this without compromising the performance of the fully adjustable air suspension system. The “lift” kit effectively doubled the original ground clearance.
Apocalypse 6×6 suggests that this is the first and only new Defender with an advanced suspension system. In addition to the increased ground clearance that makes the Defender look like a true end-of-the-world racer.
This impressive Land Rover has special skid plates, side steps, winch, roof rack and new big wheels.
The five-spoke bronze rims are obviously fitted with all-terrain tires that should allow this English cruiser to go… Everywhere!
This Land Rover, however, does not have a powerful V8. Under its hood, we find a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It develops 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. This is actually an original “P300” model.

There is no technical adjustment to keep it straight

Obviously, If the modification is less important than the other creations of Apocalypse 6X6, this one makes it more accessible. Its price is not as ridiculous as six-wheel drive models.
Typically, these require significant work to modify the entire bodywork, chassis and transmission system. There, the automatic transmission and engine are the same and still deliver power to 4-wheel drive.
The featured model of this Land Rover Defender like no other is offered for sale by South Florida Jeeps at an affordable price. Be careful, we’re still talking about $99,000.
But according to the ad, the car that served as the technical basis for this build is a 2020 model that only had 5,718 kilometers on the odometer. In other words, the modification does not cost much. At any rate, the work ofApocalypse 6×6 still very interesting.

A short video leaked on social media shows the Briton off the road. We hope that later, the owner will show us what his Defender is capable of. Especially off the beaten track. It will continue.
