prisoners? They were far away! “Officers began an extensive search to ensure the well-being of the driver and all occupants,” Sergeant Chris Bigland of the West Vancouver Police Department said in a statement. “We are grateful for the cooperation of the owner of the car, we were able to find them quickly and interview the people inside the car who were not injured.”
Officers discovered that a 13-year-old child was behind the wheel when the crash occurred. However, the boy didn’t want to steal a sports car, he just wanted to impress a friend he was traveling with. The boy lost control of the car in the evening.
“The boy and his friend wanted to take the car for a spin, but they could not control it in the dark and rain. Although there was a lot of damage, we are glad that no one was injured in the collision,” Bigland continued.
Heavy vehicle damage
It is unclear how much of the damage to the sports car actually is. However, a photo published by the police shows that the owner may be digging into his pockets to repair the Lambo.
