2023 Kia Seltos Launched in India, Price Starts From Rs 10.89 Lakhs

Kia Motors India has unveiled its newest model, the 2023 Seltos, with a starting price of 10.89 lakhs. The launch marks the company’s foray into the competitive Indian mid-size SUV market.

The new Seltos is based on the Kia SP platform and is available in two engine options: a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of torque while the latter churns out 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, while an optional seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is available on the petrol variant.

The 2023 Seltos comes with a range of features, including projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, a sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch instrument cluster and an 8-speaker Bose audio system. It also features an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera and a wireless charger.

Safety wise, the Seltos is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets a host of driver assistance systems, such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.

The 2023 Kia Seltos is available in five trim levels: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and GTX+. Prices range from 10.89 lakh to 17.65 lakh, ex-showroom. The Seltos will be available in a range of colours, including steel grey, red, grey and white.

Kia Motors India is confident that the 2023 Seltos will be a hit with buyers in the mid-size SUV segment and will bolster the company’s presence in the country.
