2025 Buick Enclave Gets Longer, More; Adds Super Cruise Hands-free Tech

Buick updated the three-row Enclave for 2025. The longer, wider and longer Enclave is now available with hands-free Super Cruise and comes standard with a 30-inch full-diagonal color touchscreen. Like the Envision small SUV, Buick changed Enclave trims to include Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir. It effectively loses the six-cylinder engine and in its place is a new turbocharged engine that offers more power and better gas mileage.

Visually, the 2025 Enclave offers a different grille for each trim along with new front and rear fascias. Buick says it follows the company’s philosophy of clean design, unexpected details and refined finishes. Also like the rest of the lineup, the Enclave uses the styling created for the Wildcat EV concept in 2022, which has informed every company redesign since then.

The standard LED headlights have the same checkmark shape while Buick’s new three-dimensional style badge is placed on the hood. As expected, front and rear LEDs display a welcome sequence as the driver approaches.

Other new standard features include 126-color ambient lighting, an automatic power liftgate (no kick needed), 20-inch wheels and a Bose sound system.

The new mid-spec ST is positioned identically to the Preferred model, in power and handling, but comes with sporty accents like a flat-bottom steering wheel, gloss black trim, custom wheels and badging. Buick says it’s trying to appeal to younger buyers with the new ST trim.

The Avenir trim bumps the wheels up to 22 inches and includes the company’s adaptive suspension. The top end also comes with ventilated seats with massaging feature, panoramic sunroof, head-up display and a few other options.

All Enclaves now come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 328 horsepower (hp) and 326 pound-feet (lb-ft) of torque and a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. All trims will be offered with front- or all-wheel drive and have a maximum towing capacity (same as last year) of 5,000 pounds.

The interior of the 2025 Buick Enclave. The 2025 Buick Enclave now comes standard with a 30-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

In addition to a new 30-inch touchscreen with Google Assistant, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Enclave has a new floating center console that leaves tons of new storage space between the front passengers. The screen is divided into a central side of the touch screen and a digital instrument cluster. Between these two are permanent icons of common features. Wireless charging is also common. There are several color options for the interior including blue on the steering wheel and dashboard, as well as brown and slate gray.

New safety features include blind spot navigation assist, automatic intersection emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane keeping assist and lane departure warning.

The grown-up Enclave, which goes on sale this summer, will continue to compete with the three-row crowd including the Kia Telluride ($36,190), Toyota Highlander ($39,270), Nissan Pathfinder ($36,080) and others. Buick hasn’t announced pricing yet, but the current Enclave starts at $43,900.
