2025 GMC Yukon teased ahead of Australian release

General Motors has teased an upcoming facelift for its upcoming 2025 model year GMC Yukon – Full-size off-road SUV will arrive Chini Chini early next year.

GM’s Australian division, GMSV, has already confirmed the locally converted right-hand drive Yukon will be offered here in luxury Denali form in 2025 – as a left-field alternative to the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series and Nissan Patrol – and development vehicles are already here for testing.

The two prototypes have both been confirmed as top-secret facelifted models, which will be revealed mid-year following the upcoming US launch of the new-generation Acadia.

Today’s preview gives us our first official look at the updated GMC Yukon, even if the version being teased here is a tougher version of the AT4.

One photo is a close-up of the Yukon AT4’s new right front corner, showing off the all-new headlights, more sculpted body lines and a new grille look, though the latter may vary between brands.

No details of the new model other than its basic cosmetic updates have been announced yet, but chances are that there won’t be any changes made to Yukon’s 313kW/623Nm 6.2-litre V8 or its 10-speed automatic transmission.

“2024 marks the fifth anniversary for GMC’s popular AT4 trim,” GM said.

“This year also marks the 25th anniversary of GMC’s Denali sub-brand, which debuted on the 1999 Yukon Denali concept.”

Yukon local price it is expected to start somewhere around the $150,000 mark when the cars are imported and rebuilt by Walkinshaw Automotive.
