A group of stars at the CUPRA PADLOWE competition!

Agnieszka Radwańska, Jerzy Dudek, Jerzy Janowicz, Maciej Dowbor, Izak and more than one hundred and fifty other athletes, journalists and media and showbiz characters will play in the padel stars tournament, CUPRA PADLOWE.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, February 3 at the InterPadel Warsaw courts. Participants will support a scholarship program for young Polish skaters.

CUPRA PADLOWE Championship is a unique sports event founded by journalist, Tomasz Smokowski. The event aims to promote padel in Poland and support young, promising players. This year’s edition of the tournament will feature, among others: former tennis players Agnieszka Radwańska, Marta Domachowska and Jerzy Janowicz, athletes, among others. Jerzy Dudek, Paweł Korzeniowski, Cezary Trybański, Michał and Marcin Żewłakow and many journalists and media persons, including: Maciej Dowbor, Rafał Maserak, Łukasz Kadziewicz, Grzegorz Kajdanowicz, Robert Stockinger. The players will compete in an all-day gambling tournament. And during the evening party at the PaTaThai restaurant, there will be a charity auction for the “PADLOWE” funding program, which supports young Polish paddlers in developing their sports careers.

– Padel is a great, social sport that anyone can try. We want to popularize this game because we dream that it will excite the Poles, as it did the Spaniards or the Scandinavians. For sport, as a discipline, to be strong, it needs “faces” and good players who will encourage others to play. A relief mission landed in Poland

The main sponsor of the event is the Barcelona car brand CUPRA, which has been supporting the development of padel around the world for years. CUPRA offered exclusive rackets with pictures of the world’s best padel players: Ariana Sanchez (No. 1 among women on the World Padel Tour) and Fernando Belasteguin for a charity auction. – We see that padali is becoming more and more popular in our country. Thanks to the PADLOWE funding program, together with young athletes, we are taking the first of many steps towards their development and achieving satisfactory results in competitions. – says Katarzyna Dziomdziora, PR manager of the CUPRA brand in Poland.

As part of the partnership, Superbet will prepare its location during the event, where participants will be able to test their dart accuracy. The total points earned on the board will be translated into financial support of the treasurer to the Foundation of the Polish Paralympic Committee, which will especially benefit from the support during the year of the Paralympic Games.
