Abarth 600 Interior: similarities and differences with the future Alfa Romeo Milano

While the Alfa Romeo Milano must be fully revealed on April 10, Abarth for its part shares images of its next model based on the Fiat 600. Among these images, that of the passenger compartment caught our attention, because it shows similarities, but also differences compared to the leaked 3D images of the interior of Milano.

As always with leaked images (also called leaks) we can never be 100% sure they are real. So when Abarth shares a photo of the 600’s interior, worth watching. As a reminder, Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Abarth 600 share the same platform, same factory and many components. So it is A good way to compare similarities, as well as differences.

For starters the feature that shares the most similarity, the interior of the door, also called door trim. They are similar characteristics between the two models 600 and Milano. The only difference may come in the materials used.

When it comes to the center console, there are similarities and differences. The part that connects the handbrake button has been specially worked on Alfa Romeo to reveal what it could be selector and driving mode display. For the rest, whether in the armrest area or the two storage spaces, the locations are the same.

The most reworked feature is the dashboard. The car’s air vents, central screen area, meter frame, everything has been redone. The only similarity here is the physical buttons that allow you to adjust the temperature, ventilation and turn off the multimedia system.

Regarding the steering wheel, we can notice the similarity in terms of measurements and the location of the buttons. However, a small visual detail means that the two steering wheels will be very different in appearance.

It’s a shame we don’t have more pictures of the upholstery, because those of the Abarth 600 reveal bucket seats with an Alcantara-like cover.

In any case, it is good to see that the Alfa Romeo will probably have a more different interior from its technical cousin. We’re also hoping for more color options than the ubiquitous black in the new models.
