BMW driver slashes the tire of an elderly couple

Bremen – An argument that escalated between two BMW drivers caused chaos on federal highway 27 in Bremen on Thursday morning. An elderly couple were threatened while in their car when another driver acted violently and pulled out a knife.

The incident happened around 11 am on the way to Hanover, near the Vahr junction. The 71-year-old driver of a white BMW 1 Series was harassed by a gray BMW 3 Series, which was following him for a short distance. Unexpectedly, the driver of the gray BMW passed on the right and forced the older driver to stop by slowing him down.

After stopping, the aggressive driver tried to open the car doors. However, this failed due to the quick reaction of the 71-year-old man. However, the attacker managed to slash the tire of the BMW with a knife before leaving the highway at the Vahr junction.

The couple were not injured, but appeared to be shaken. His car was impounded by the police for repairs and forensic investigation. The investigation against the driver of a gray BMW car for endangering traffic on the road, using force and damaging property is ongoing, and the owner of the car has already been identified.
