Electric SUV sales begin in Europe


After conquering China, the new Polestar 4 electric SUV arrives in Europe: the first deliveries are expected this summer of 2024.

A new 100% electric coupe SUV

The Sino-Swedish manufacturer has just opened orders for Polestar 4 in Europe, as well as in the Australian market, at starting prices from 63,200 euros, or 81,500 Australian dollars, respectively. Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2024 at Geely’s factory in Hangzhou Bay, China, with the first products expected from August 2024.

Polestar 4 is positioned between Polestar 2 and Polestar 3, in terms of size and price. In Germany, the model is offered at a price of 63,200 euros including tax, per version Long Series Single Motor (272 horsepower and 610 kilometers of autonomy), and from 71,200 euros, for the version Two Long Term Cars (544 horsepower and 580 kilometers of range).

Polestar 4: not (yet) for France

Several option packages are also offered:
• of Driver Package (1,500 Euros): Pilot Assistance, Route Change Assistance;
• of Pack Plus (Euro 5,500): Harman Kardon Premium Sound system, Pixel LED lights, head-up display, Star-connected cloth, Foot-sensor operated tailgate, Anti-dazzle exterior mirrors, rear control screen, seats 12-way adjustable front seats with automatic entry/exit assist, Power reclining rear seats, heated steering wheel and rear seats, 3-zone climate control, PM 2.5 air filter, and charger of 22 kW of AC;
• of Pack Pro (2,000 Euros): 21-inch Pro rims, Swedish Gold seat belt;
• of Packet Performance (Euro 4,500, for the Dual Motor version only): 22-inch Performance rims, Polestar Engineered chassis, Brembo brakes, Details in Swedish Gold;
So far, the Polestar brand has not yet been established In France, where it had a conflict with Citroën because of its logo, very close to the chevrons of the French brand. Since then, a peace agreement has been reached between the two parties, allowing Polestar to establish itself in France and Europe.
So it should be a matter of time before the brand sells its Polestar 4 in our region. Especially since the latest Polestar model is available among our neighbors: for example, in Belgium, where the model is sold for 63,500 euros, in Spain (65,900 euros) or even in Italy (65,655 euros).

At the time of its presentation last year, the Polestar 4 was particularly notable for the absence of a rear window, replaced by a camera mirror, and its glass roof extending the entire length of the car, as usual.
