Chris built a V6 into his ugly duckling

You already have a 2CV with an Alfa four-cylinder box engine and realize that a V6 with a gearbox on the rear axle would also fit. What are you doing then? Chris Bogers created the second Citroen 2CV with Alfa Romeo technology.

“I’ve built a 2CV before with Alfa technology. Then I put a 33QV into a 2CV which, after tuning, now produces 150 hp. The front-wheel drive makes it feel great; you can just accelerate. And if things don’t go right, he goes straight ahead .

Citroen 2CV with Busso-V6 from Alfa Romeo

The second Frankenstein-2CV has received a Busso-V6 as the donor heart. This model is now featured in this video, it has power to the rear wheels, which is more difficult.

“I put the whole car next to the 2CV, looked at it from the side and it fit,” Bogers says. “I had three gearboxes, which I replaced with one gearbox from an Alfa Romeo 75 Twin Spark, because it has a lock. That container is now in here.”
