Citroen AX with 51 km mileage. First owner drove 1 km

Citroën AX like new? It’s hard to believe considering the age of the car, but a copy with less than 51 km is looking for a new owner in France. The first owner was a disgruntled customer who decided not to drive the car.

The Citroën AX collector’s item was released by the company An old storywhich sells classic cars, teenagers and models with interesting history, and this is the model we are dealing with here.

Produced between 1986 and 1998, the Citroën AX became famous for its agility in the city and economical driving, and these were probably the features that tempted the first owner to buy the car. Whether he later took advantage of his car benefits is another story. Before the AX, he had a 2CV, but after the car was damaged in an accident, he decided to visit the Citroen Garage des Ailes showroom in Levallois Perret, France, to buy himself a new car.

The choice fell on Citroën AX 10 RE – the basic version of Saxo’s predecessor. Powering the model comes from a 4-cylinder petrol engine with a capacity of 954 cc, which produces 45 HP.

The driving habits did not win the customer’s heart, so the car was put in the garage and since then it has been stored “under a blanket” with a mileage of only 51 km. 50 kilometers were added to Citroen’s odometer and measurements, and about 1 kilometer was covered by the first and last owners.

The Citroen AX is offered by Vintage Legende as if it had come from the factory. The exterior and interior look good. The fabric upholstery has no tears or holes, and the set includes the original rims, tires and full documentation. The price of AX is PLN 13,000. euro (approx. PLN 56,000).
