DS 7 Crossback 180 HP EAT8 – 60,000 km behind us. How does a luxury SUV perform?

DS 7 Crossback with PureTech 1.6 petrol engine with 180 HP and 8 speed automatic transmission EAT8 has been with us for two years. We have already crossed 60,000 km.

Two years ago we started a long-distance test of the DS 7 Crossback. The luxury SUV of the French premium brand is characterized by a luxurious appearance, high-quality interior finishing materials and a wealth of equipment. Our model does not only have night vision – it is also equipped with everything that can be ordered for it.

Our car is equipped and Michelin Crossclimate 2 all-season tires – they show no major signs of wear. They do very well, both in summer and winter. You can easily go to snowy places.

After 60,000 km, we are still happy with the driving comfort, quietness, very good operation of the cruise control and keeping the car on the line, fun to travel, excellent sound system and reasonable fuel consumption. Yesterday, when using the route from Krakow to Gdańsk, the car consumed an average of 6.3 liters per 100 km (travel speed due to heavy traffic was between 110 and 130 km / h) – measured at the pump. Average fuel consumption for all distances, including the city, is 7.7 liters per 100 kilometers.

It’s reliable, comfortable, fun to drive, well-equipped and has it all.

Yesterday, the car also had an inspection after 60,000 km – in addition to changing the oil and filters, the front brake pads were also changed, the rear ones do not need it yet. The air conditioner was also disinfected and the interior was properly cleaned and washed.

Currently, prices for the DS 7 model start from PLN 199,900, but it’s worth going to one of the brand’s luxury showrooms and check the current version, you can get a real bargain at the end of the year. This model has been enthusiastically chosen by independent workers, doctors and artists – it stands out from the crowd of bland SUVs and the interior is a true work of art, refined French elegance.
