Enter the price list: Subaru Crosstrek as the successor to the XV

The Subaru XV has been called the Subaru Crosstrek since the new model generation. What does the new model have to offer? We get to know each other and dive into the price list.

Subaru is only a small player in the Netherlands. If you missed the launch of the all-new generation Subaru XV, we don’t think that’s a shame. For the new model generation, the model also received a new name: Subaru Crosstrek. Although, the new name, in North America the first model was already called that. As usual, North America (including) also received a scoop of the new model, in 2022, and this year it is also the turn of the European market. At the end of last year we were also able to drive.

Subaru Crosstrek is always a hybrid

The new Subaru Crosstrek is basically an evolution of the previous XV. That is to say: the off-road version of the Impreza hatchback, which is no longer available in the Netherlands. In terms of engines, only the Hybrid 2.0 remains. This gives you access to a four-cylinder boxer engine with 100 kW (136 hp) and 182 Nm of torque.

A CVT automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard. Despite the hybrid technology, the average consumption is 7.7 l/100 km (1 in 13), although that is not very economical for an out-of-towner.

Versions and prices Subaru Crosstrek

Unfortunately, the BPM system does not take this into account and pays less tax. That brings the starting price of the Subaru Crosstrek to 51,800 euros… This is faced with the standard equipment of the rich. Some of the highlights: 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights and taillights, heated exterior mirrors, Keyless Entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, 4.2-inch digital instruments ( segment) and an 11.6-inch touchscreen for infotainment. Then there’s also Subaru EyeSight’s comprehensive driver assistance and safety systems.

In addition to the standard Comfort model, there are also Luxury (euro 53,800) and Premium (euro 55,800) versions. The Luxury also offers 18-inch alloys, electrically adjustable front seats, high beam assist, navigation and additional USB ports. You also get X-Mode, which adjusts speed better on slippery or steep surfaces. The only Premium extras are a power sliding/tilting sunroof and leather upholstery. We go to Luxury.

Exterior decoration

For the bodywork, Subaru offers a color palette that unfortunately we don’t see. While white is selected as standard, signature bright blue and bright red are two colors available at no extra cost. Every other color costs an additional 750 euros.

In addition to white, you can also choose black or a shade of gray, but also two shades of blue or a type of orange-red. Finally we go for the last one. Something different from the “normal” red or blue. There are no other wheel options.

Interior decoration

We can also finish the interior quickly, because the standard black fabric upholstery is also the only option.

Packages and personal options

This also brings us to the end of the list of configurators and prices, because Subaru does not make individual options. What equipment you do and don’t have on board is completely determined by your choice of equipment level. All you have to do is choose the best body color.

This means that the final price of our configuration also remains at 55,995 euros. Not cheap for a hatchback, but then you have one of the most diverse models in the segment. Do you also like the Subaru Crosstrek? Then check out www.subaru.nl. Unfortunately, the developer doesn’t show any pictures of the interior, so we’ve taken the interior pictures below from the media kit this time.
