No tea

First installed on the Gallardo, the naturally aspirated V10 engine was followed by its replacement, the Huracan, presented for the first time in 2014. At the end of the year, the successor to the Huracan, which may be rumored to be called the “Temerario”, will change the atmosphere of V10 to V8 hybrid. Produced in over 20,000 units, the Huracan also gave Lamborghini an incredible racing record.

To the model based on the Huracán STO, STJ adds an exclusive package designed to emphasize the “racing spirit” of the Huracán STO. What does STJ mean? Super Trofeo Jota : Super Trofeo pays homage to Lamborghini’s single-race championship, established in 2009, with Jota referencing Appendix J of the FIA regulations that set the specifications for racing cars, and the long tradition of Lamborghini models created for the track, starting with Miura SVJ and continued with Aventador SVJ.

Pack the course

The Huracán STJ stands out thanks to its aerodynamic package that comes from the competition, with the addition of the iconic “cofango”, two new carbon fiber aerodynamic attachments (flying), while the angle of the rear wing has increased by 3 ° compared. to the production model, to ensure a 10% increase in aerodynamic load. Like the STO, the Huracán STJ offers a maximum power of 640 HP at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 565 Nm (at 8,000 rpm) controlled by a 7-speed gearbox, linked to the ‘back.

Mechanical grip is increased thanks to a set of four adjustable race-derived shock absorbers, which replaces the usual functions. The shock absorbers can be adjusted to optimize rotation and compression at high and low frequencies, giving complete freedom of choice in the configuration according to the characteristics of the track. To enhance driving dynamics, special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires were developed, made with a special high-grip compound and installed on 20-inch single-lug rims. These technical characteristics have allowed an improvement of more than one second in the lap time at the Nardò technical center compared to the Huracán STO.

Ad Personam palette in spotlight

Obviously, this last Huracan V10 could not ignore some beauty. Two different configuration and production options are offered: the first combines the Grigio Telesto body with the Nero Noctis roof and Rosso Mars and Bianco Isi details, while the cabin features Alcantara Nero Cosmos seats with leather details and different details and Rosso Alala (red) stitch. The second configuration has a Blu Eliadi body and a Nero Noctis roof with Rosso Mars and Bianco Isi details, which we prefer. Both versions also have a special carbon fiber plaque with a number and “1 of 10” markings. Additionally, there is an option to add a personal passenger plate to each customer’s order.

Summing up

Collectors have taken this Lamborghini Huracan STJ, which in addition to sporting an aerodynamic package and suspension straight from the race, offers the last series of 10 models that include the expected V10, which will give way to a hybrid V8 instead of the Huracan.
