Ford has a series of electric vehicles planned in the coming years. It’s time to serve a business client who wants (or must) change soon. This year we already get to see the younger sibling of the Mustang Mach-E. However, it won’t share DNA with Ford’s first electric SUV. Not only in terms of design, but also mechanically. Because Ford’s guest uses Volkswagen’s MEB platform, which you already know from the VW ID.4, Skoda Enyaq, etc. On Twitter, Ford’s head of EV Europe, Martin Sander, already shows a short teaser video with the Dutch designer Wake up Leenarts and.. alien’s mouth!
With our new EV revealed next month, it’s time for us to get excited.
Here it is @amko_leenarts showing us that you can expect a rebellious, uncompromising, SUV legacy reimagined for #EV eraJoin us on March 21st! #Rediscovering # Electric Car pic.twitter.com/LulZXIFJSG

More is coming
The currently unnamed model won’t get the spotlight for too long, because Ford is planning two more EVs in the near future. One of these will also use the MEB platform, the next model – the electric Puma – will be built on a completely new platform developed by Ford.
Full disclaimer: Ford invited us on February 10 to secretly shoot a video of its latest SUV. As a result, we already know the design, name and power versions. However, since we had to sign a non-disclosure agreement, we cannot say anything about it until March 21.
