Huub van den Brule leaves Stern

After 41 years of service with Stern, Huub van den Brule, General Manager of Stern’s Renault and Nissan dealers, will leave the company. He reached retirement age on June 1, 2021, after which he stayed for another year to find his successor.

Starting July 1, his operational roles will be extended by Astrid Karthaus (aftersales) and Bas Bijl (sales). Both have been employed by Stern for a long time. From now on they will report to Matthieu Snel, director of the Stern Automotive unit, which oversees all Stern dealer operations.

Years of Service

Huub van den Brule joined the Renault Fassbender-Valks dealer in Schijndel on June 1, 1981. In July 2002, Stern acquired the Fassam Group in the South of the Netherlands, including five Renault automotive companies, two Chrysler dealers, and a gas station. two petrol stations and real estate.

Employed by Stern, Huub van den Brule later held various management positions, including eighteen years ago as general manager of Stern’s Renault retailer locations. He was also a member of the Stern Group Board, the group’s operational management board.
