In comparison, the Polestar 2 suddenly becomes an electric car with a bargain price

What? Have you been wanting a Polestar 2 in your driveway? So maybe now is the time to address it. Now you can buy an electric car at a much cheaper price.

It’s no secret that the Polestar 2 is an excellent electric car. However, the higher purchase price may mean that you may prefer to opt for that Tesla.

Now that is no longer necessary, because the price will drop by around 10,000 euros in one week. We’ll tell you exactly how this works below.

Big discount on Polestar 2

If you bought a Polestar 2 last week, you feel like you’ve been ripped off. Around that time the car still cost 51,200 euros. The manufacturer has now introduced a big discount, because now you can buy it for 42,000 euros.

So Polestar has significantly reduced the price of an electric car. The starting price is 44,950 euros. This means that this is 50 euros below the SEPP grant limit. This means that 2,950 euros will be deducted, bringing the total discount to 9,200 euros.

This only applies to the Polestar 2 Standard Range Single Motor with rear-wheel drive and a 69 kWh battery and 272 hp. This electric car has a range of 546 km.

Even more affordable electric cars

Other Polestar 2 models also have higher discounts, but these are not covered by the SEPP subsidy. For example, the Long Range model with One Car goes from 55,200 euros to 51,200 euros. So you pay 4,000 euros less for this electric car.

The Dual Motor models of the Polestar 2 are also cheaper. The big advantage of these models is that they have front and rear wheel drive. The Long Term with Dual Motor and 42 kWh battery first cost 58,600 euros, but now it is 55,200 euros.

If you want to have a blast with your electric car, go for the Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor and Performance Pack. You have 476 horsepower under your right foot. The price has dropped from 66,400 euros to 61,700 euros, reports Auto Week.
