The Indiana Senate recently paid tribute to the “We the People” team from Fishers, recognizing their accomplishment of achieving a second-place finish in the national championship in April.
The esteemed representatives of the Hoosier State lauded the team of students from Hamilton Southeastern High School, who competed against other talented groups of scholars from across the nation in a highly technical and arduous competition.
The Senate Resolution, sponsored by Senator Mike Delph and co-sponsored by Senators Jack Sandlin and Jeff Raatz, praised the academic excellence of the team and the hard work and dedication of the students, their devoted teachers, and the supportive parents who helped them to achieve their remarkable success.
The resolution, which passed unanimously, also commended the students for their commitment to the Constitution and for exemplifying the values of patriotism, civic responsibility and leadership.
