Kia shows off a new K4 that looks a lot like the Stinger

No, the girl group known as K3 will not be adding a new member. This is a preview of Kia’s new K4. In the lead up to the New York Auto Show, the Korean car brand is teasing us with the design of a new sedan. At first glance, it does not seem to deviate too much from the new principles of brand design. For example, he has the same angry look as many other models.

The front looks a lot like the big EV9. Kia K4 reminds us it is also a Spike. Just look at the sloping roofline. This is not the first Kia to be called K4: the brand previously launched a car with this name in China. Depending on where it will be launched, this K4 will be aimed for the US – but who knows, it may also cross over to Europe.

Unknown power of K4

At the front we see a wide, thin grille between the pointed lights, and a large air scoop at the bottom. We don’t know if this is meant for the petrol engine. It is not yet known what engine the Kia K4 will have. There’s no ‘EV’ in the name, so we assume there will be a petrol engine under the hood. Whether it is supported by an electric vehicle or not.

In a car you are looking at a screen that takes up most of the dashboard. It looks good, but we hope that not all operations are done through this touch screen. We’ve seen a few buttons down, so maybe it’s not too bad. We should know more about K4 on March 27.
