Lamborghini Huracan STJ: The ultimate special model

Lamborghini Huracan STJ: The ultimate special model

Lamborghini is in its final stages of developing the successor to the Huracán. The new one is scheduled to be delivered in 2024. The Huracan itself obviously still has development potential.

A new model name registered with the European Patent Office already indicated another special series V10 sports car. A patent application dated February 27, 2024 protects the Huracán STJ model name for the Italian sports car manufacturer. The letters S and T are again an abbreviation for Super Trofeo. For STO, Lamborghini had already launched a road-legal version of the single-cup racer. The O in the model name stands for Omologato. J added to ST stands for Jota. So far, Lamborghini has only decorated a few select models with this addition. The first version of Jota was called Miura in racing variant. Diablo Jota, Aventador Jota and Aventador SVJ followed later.

It further launched the Huracan STO

Now Lamborghini is pulling the plug on the Huracán STJ. This special model, limited to ten cars, is the ultimate tribute to the ten-cylinder carmaker from Sant’Agata Bolognese. As predicted, the Huracán STJ is based on the STO, but the extra package introduced specifically for it mocks its true racing car character and makes it the most capable model in the Huracán family.

The special features of the Huracán STJ include, first of all, a special aerodynamic kit. The aerodynamics of the modern STO have been further improved: two new carbon fiber pieces have been added to the car. The rear wing is three degrees taller than the standard design and increases the contact pressure by ten percent more. Like the STO, the Huracán STJ delivers a maximum power of 640 rpm at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 565 Newton meters at the same speed. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a seven-speed clutch transmission. Four fully adjustable racing shock absorbers replace the conventional fluids used. There are also soft suspension springs. Superior grip is provided by special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires mounted on 20-inch center locking rims.

Two different configurations and color schemes are available for the STJ. The first variant combines a gray body in Grigio Telesto with a black roof in Nero Noctis with red and white details in Rosso Mars and Bianco Isi, while the interior features black Alcantara seats in Nero Cosmos with red leather details and contrasting stitching in Rosso Sleep. The second version comes with a blue body in Blu Eliadi and a black roof in Nero Noctis with red and white details in Rosso Mars and Bianco Isi. Both versions also have a special carbon plaque, with a number and the text “1 out of 10”. In addition, the passenger side can be finished with a plate that can be customized according to the customer’s wishes.

Yes, to me that is where increased value and happiness meet. No, that would be too insecure of me.

Lamborghini is launching another Huracán variant. A more refined version of the STO comes under the Huracán STJ name, which is limited to just ten models.
