Milan – Yellow as a special edition of 2014. A tribute to the short, but important to its manufacturer, the history of the Nissan Juke. The younger brother of the Qasqaih immediately attracted attention in 2010, the first generation of compact SUVs that quickly grew to follow its example, becoming the main part of our market. The second generation started in 2019, today an update arrives that solves several shortcomings highlighted by customers of the Yokohama brand.

“The main reason to buy a Juke is the exterior design – says Marco Toro, president and CEO of Nissan Italia -. We did not get the same satisfaction with the interior design, which is why we focused our efforts on renovating the passenger compartment, making it more powerful and functional more work.” On the N-Sport version shown at Citylife, in the sports cage, reserved for the Milan Marathon on 7 April, of which Nissan is the technical sponsor, the sports seats appeared, with new synthetic leather, pleasant to the touch, with the appearance of stitched and embroidered logo.

It is one of the environments offered in the versions starting from Acenta and moving forward to offer N-Connecta, the best-seller, Tekna, focusing more on the content of technology and comfort, and finally N-Design and N-Sport, the most refined on the market style plan. “Yellow conveys friendliness and positivity, the one chosen for the new Juke is a little brighter than the one of 10 years ago” explains Letizia Di Marco, product manager of Nissan Italia, with a color sample moving behind her, with 23 possible combinations. Then follows a list of the biggest innovations: “A larger 12.3-inch display, rotated 8 degrees towards the driver, good quality materials including Alcantara, a central tunnel design, controlled by the gear lever, a new armrest with cup holders. , frameless rearview mirror, wireless smartphone charging, new wheel look. And a more complete ADAS offering.”

Another novelty is the version of the full hybrid engine, the favorite of the Juke public, on all versions; it is composed of a 94 hp gasoline engine and a 49 hp battery engine, the alternative is a three-cylinder turbo with 1,000 cc and 114 hp. “And on the attack model we put the current list price” Toro commented. So: 25,000 euros. To see it from retailers, however, we’ll have to wait a bit. “But before the summer the new Juke will appear” they assure Nissan.
