Line 44, which runs from Don Borio station in Grugliasco to viale Partigiani in Collegno, will have complete power management. The buses in service will be the K9UB recently acquired by GTT and manufactured by BYD: electric vehicles, and “zero pollution”. With the arrival of the turnstiles, boarding is done from the front door only: after validating the ticket, the green light turns on and the bar opens to allow entry to the bus. Exit is allowed through the middle or rear doors.

A new management of line 44 is integrated into the plan the reorganization of the public transport service of Grugliasco, which includes: the extension of 15 trams to the railway station of Grugliasco and the connection to the new university campus; the western extension of Metro line 1 to the Collegno – Cascine Vica section; road connection with the new “Borgata Quaglia – Le Gru” station of the metropolitan railway system Sfm 5 (Turin San Paolo – Orbassano).
