Peugeot 3008 and E-3008 only on ex works Michelin tyres

According to its own words, Michelin is the exclusive tire supplier for the new Peugeot 3008 and E-3008 models. For all new versions, the French tire manufacturer offers three types of profiles – two summer tires and one all-season – for 19-inch and 20-inch rims for the automaker’s assembly line. For the European market these are “E.Primacy” in sizes 235/50 R20 104V, 235/55 R19 105V and 225/55 R19 103V as well as “CrossClimate 2 SUV” in dimensions 225/103V9 and 225/153V9. 235/ 55 R19 105V, while outside Europe Peugeot chooses the “Pilot Sport 4 SUV” in size 235/50 R20 104V. It is also said that the car manufacturer’s tires are manufactured in Michelin factories in Europe.

“We have invested heavily in this process to support the commercial success of the new Peugeot SUV. Our production network and plants in Bad Kreuznach, Vitoria and Valladolid in Spain as well as Cuneo in Italy are evidence of our strategy to produce as close to the market as possible,” explains Florentin Odenwald, Executive Vice President of Global Sales Automotive OE at Michelin. . According to the tire manufacturer, it took three years to develop the initial equipment tires for these SUV models. The specifications are said to have “very high requirements in terms of stability and safety of driving on wet and dry roads as well as parameters important for longevity and energy efficiency”.
