Marburg: Car door vs. Hyundai

Between 6:50 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday (April 22, 2024), an unknown person vandalized a Hyundai car parked in the Ludwigsgrund parking lot on Emil-von-Behring-Straße. The stranger may have opened his car door too wide when getting in or out and hit the driver’s door of the gray i30. The damage is equivalent to 150 euros. The Marburg police station is asking for information from witnesses: (phone number 06421/4060).

Marburg: damaged when pulling out of parking space

While backing out of a parking space, a yellow car damaged a Mazda parked at number 12 on Haspelstrasse. A black CX-5 was parked in the direction of Liebigstrasse when an unknown person ran into the bumper at 9:30 am on Wednesday (April 24, 2024) and then fled. Repairing the bumper will cost around 1,000 euros. Witnesses who can provide information about the yellow minivan with MR license plates are asked to contact the Marburg police station (phone number 06421/4060).

Marburg – seized Nissan

On Thursday (April 25, 2024), an unknown person broke the side window of a Nissan car parked in Nonnengasse and entered the car. He stole a Tommy Hilfiger handbag from inside a gray Micra. The police estimate the damage at 225 euros. The Marburg police are asking for information about the thief who called between 5:00 am and 9:40 am by calling 06421/4060.

Stadtallendorf: the truck overturned

Last night (April 26, 2024) a 40-year-old man drove his truck on the B62 from the direction of Niederklein towards Lehrbach. Around 3:35 in the morning, the driver failed to control his MAN car, which was loaded with grit, on the level of the road bridge there for unknown reasons, and then overturned. A lot of material was spread on the road. Rescue workers took the injured driver to the hospital. The amount of damage cannot yet be calculated. While the accident was recorded and rescue work continued, the B62 was completely closed until around 6.20am.
