The “AutoMania” Festival, scheduled for June 17 in Włocławek, promises to be an extraordinary gathering of sports and organized cars, featuring a myriad of attractions. This unprecedented event in the heart of Kujawy will captivate car enthusiasts from across Poland, offering a meticulously organized car rally, along with sanctioned road races. The focal point of the festival will be the Flea Market, while the exhilarating Drag Race will unfold on the adjacent Kazimierza Wielki Street.
Attendees can expect a captivating display of meticulously curated sports and organized cars. The event will showcase a diverse range of vehicles, including extensively modified popular models, professionally enhanced high-end cars, and exclusive sports machines from the supercar segment, such as McLaren and Mercedes-Benz.
Additionally, brand-new cars fresh from the showrooms will grace the premises. The spectacle will also feature motorcycles, quads, impeccably preserved classics, automotive industry relics, and an array of unconventional vehicles. Notably, among the latter will be the road-legal Ariel Atom, as well as an unexpectedly tuned Ursus C360 tractor and a lawnmower ingeniously modified for racing purposes.
AutoMania will also attract a host of participants with modified machines designed for various sporting disciplines, including rallies and racing. Noteworthy among the competitors is the remarkable 10-year-old Borys Piotrowski from Włocławek, who will showcase his talent in a specially prepared tempo song.
The event will be further enriched by the awe-inspiring performances of stuntmen hailing from the Włocławek WEK Stunters group, renowned for their mastery of motorcycle stunts, and expert drivers skilled in controlled sledding. During the Drift Taxi episode, spectators will have the unique opportunity to experience the exhilaration of “front” driving from the sidelines, all within the confines of stringent safety regulations.
An equally captivating spectacle awaits near the station, where a section of Aleja Kazimierza Wielki will be temporarily closed to traffic for the eagerly anticipated Drag Race Trophy. In this adrenaline-fueled competition, drivers will vie against each other in pairs, racing over a distance of 201.33 meters (1/8 mile).
Aside from the captivating exhibitions, AutoMania will offer a diverse range of activities, including security-related showcases, public competitions for both participants and onlookers, racing simulators, dedicated children’s areas, and delectable food stalls.
