The New Lamborghini Urus Plugin, will debut on April 24th

New plug-in for Lamborghini Urus it is ready for the first time. The carmaker has announced that it will present something new on April 24. Even if it is not explicitly stated, the pictures shared clearly show the new Urus PHEV still under wraps during a test session on the snowy roads of Northern Europe. It is clear that it is a Plug-in model thanks to the presence of a sticker with a high voltage sign on the bodywork.

Therefore, tomorrow we will finally be able to discover all the details of the new SUV. In fact, we already know a few things since the Urus Plug-in has been the subject of spy shots several times.

The arrival of the new plugin engine will also be accompanied by a SUV design update from Lamborghini. No major changes but a series of tweaks to improve the look of this model. From what we could see thanks to several spy photos, the front end has been revised with the introduction of a redesigned bumper and new headlights. Small adjustments are also expected in the background.

As for the interior, the new Urus PHEV should have a new interior with a new dashboard and above all a new infotainment system. The biggest news will obviously be the establishment of a hybrid powertrain Plug-in. Lamborghini never wanted to give any information in this matter. However, there have been long discussions Biturbo V8 plus electric motor.

This will be a unit derived from the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid which is capable of producing 544 kW (739 HP). The electric car is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 25.9 kWh that allows freedom in electric mode of 82 km. In the example of Lamborghini we are talking about high power.

Obviously, to discover all the correct technical details we will have to wait for the official presentation. Fortunately, the wait will be very short.
