CONFIG – Be the king of Ski Resorts with our Ranger Rover SV!

While the current generation is already more or less two years old, the Range Rover continues its merry way in its corner, without making any noise. Which doesn’t mean we’re not attracted to him, far from it. As proof, here is our very own Range Rover configuration, here in SV version, perfect for winter sports in Courchevel!

Although not widely publicized, the Range Rover is one of these luxury SUVs, just like the Bentley Bentayga and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The English Trinity, then. And make no mistake, Range is more accessible than the other two, contrary to what you might think. In its basic version, this SUV starts at 142,900 euros, but the SV version we have configured goes up to 231,700 euros excluding options. Unfortunately for your bank, we had a heavy hand on optional equipment.

We chose the most powerful engine, for that matter, the P650 MHEV version. This one has a 4.4 V8 with 615 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. With such a monster under the hood, Range can go from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 261 km / h. Not bad, for a behemoth weighing less than 2.8 tons.

Sports and elegant. Nothing to add.

Traditional English setting

For external affairs, we set our sights on the British Racing Green color, priced at 9,570 euros. To underline the Ranger’s sporty DNA, we’ve looked at a package including SV Intrepid exterior finishes, for 2,874 euros. To continue the theme, we opted for 23-inch black-painted rims, along with red brake calipers. These two features increase the bill to 2,460 euros.

Inside, we chose a subtle combination of black, which can be found on the leather of the seats and dashboard, and wood for the door panels and the transmission tunnel. This decorative dream costs 1,462 euros.

It’s not as stylish as the Bentayga, but the level of luxury and finish is still amazing.

To this, we added the SV Comfort Pack for 2,373 euros. This includes an internal vent in the passenger compartment, used to power the refrigerator mounted in the center armrest. We also opted for usable side steps, for 4,007 euros, anti-theft nuts for 50 euros as well as, luxury height, retractable rear seats. These cost 1,210 euros, but allow you to sit and drink your tea in the fresh air.

For 24,006 euros, you have this list of options, or the Dacia Duster… it’s up to you!

In total, we therefore added 24,006 euros of options, reaching a total bill of 255,706 euros. A neat amount, which nevertheless allows you to get the very last drive to Courchevel at the weekend with great respect, being faster to climb the mountain with great pleasure.
