The JE Designs company decided to transform the Cupra Formentor into a real “entertainer”. Look-wise, it’s a success. But we don’t know if the engine is on it…

JE Designs got their hands on the Cupra Formentor and turned it into an all-terrain vehicle. The result is this unique “All Terrain” concept. As the company doesn’t do things by halves, it has a lift stand, 18-inch rims with large Yokohama tires and widened tracks. Of course, there is also a body kit to give it a true explorer look.

A guardian like you’ve never seen before

The result of JE Designs’ work is this off-road SUV that looks like it ate the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness for breakfast. As the Cupra is one of the sports brands of the Volkswagen group, the SUV in question has a powerful look. We must not forget our DNA!
Formentor is also the first car with 100% Cupra DNA. And this, even if it is based on the Volkswagen MQB platform, like the Volkswagen Golf. So the Formentor has some of the powertrains from the Golf, as well as the PHEV range.
But there is also a variant with a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that develops 390 horsepower. It is the five cylinder of the famous Audi RS3. To reach here; so far, All Formentor variants were variants suitable for road use.
Therefore, JE Design saw an opportunity to take the SUV as the basis for new adventures. In addition to the new wheels and suspension, the car has wheel arch extensions that give it a more aggressive look.

A true view of the advertiser

So everything combines perfectly with ground wheels and tires. You may not be able to log out de “Hell’s Gate” like a Wrangler would, but you should be able to take small trips off the beaten path without too much trouble.
Otherwise, LED lighting has been added to the roof of this Formentor, next to the roof rack. This recalls the name “All Terrain”. A gasoline jerrycan and a spare spare wheel are required. A two-piece spoiler and diffuser were added to the rear. But JE Designs has not forgotten to preserve the possibility of choosing a towing hook.
This maker like no other also has four new exhausts. A reminder that this unique article is powerful! In any case, this gives us hope that a powerful engine is hidden under the hood. The final touch is the “JE-Purple” detailing that has been added to many features.

It remains to be seen JE designs will decide to put this unique Formentor up for sale one day… Or if it remains a museum for the rest of its life.
