Buick Showcases Revamped Wildcat and Reveals New Tag Line

In the video above, Buick shows off both versions of the Wildcat, which should help more casual car fans better identify the differences. While the style isn’t a huge departure from what we’ve seen in the past few years, it’s still interesting.

Buick modified the nose of the Wildcat EV and removed the slat-like grille placement. The Wildcat also sports a refreshed combination of fascia and headlights. It’s also worth noting that all of these updates appear to have been done digitally, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see an updated Wildcat EV concept hitting an event near you sooner rather than later.

If you’re wondering why Buick is updating the concept sedan model, well, there’s a real reason. Buick is changing its tagline and focusing on stricter styling principles for its crossovers. New tagline: “Beautiful by design.”

Since Buick has used the Wildcat as a glimpse into the future, it only makes sense to keep updating the concept car to reflect upcoming trends.

Although there is an update to the Wildcat model, it looks like the next one ’25 Plant it will still feature a slat-like grille, which mirrors the larger Wildcat cats.

While it’s still hard to tell what’s coming, you can almost expect something to borrow from this new design language. Or, if Buick wants to give its fans a big surprise, put a Wildcat in the lineup.
