The Mercedes-Benz E-Class built in 1993 was the second major facelift of the 124 series and the first to officially carry the E-Class name, which is now common for upper middle class and star cars. As Luan Nina explains in the video, she has been working as a taxi driver in Durrës for 15 years and has been driving her trusty Mercedes E-Class ever since. According to the odometer reading, which can be seen briefly in the video, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has already covered a total of 1,584,589 kilometers. By her own account, Luan Nina has driven nearly a million of these cars since the limousine was shipped from Germany to Albania. The original engine that was built in Stuttgart is still installed in the Benz. The taxi driver has only had to replace a blown gasket once in the last 15 years. The 70-year-old Italian is far from thinking about retirement and also wants to continue driving his E-Class. “I take good care of them and fix them if necessary,” he says. “I’ll do whatever it takes.”
