The new Cupra is exciting. Nice car

The Cupra Formentor was officially presented in March 2020. Although the brand belongs to Seat, the Formentor was the first model of the Spanish manufacturer that was not just a Seat with a changed logo and a few cosmetic modifications, but was specifically designed from scratch – to introduce the Cupra name to car. market. And it must be admitted that he did it very effectively.

A combination of SUV and crossover

What is the secret of the success of this car? You don’t have to be a car expert to see that this car was different from the ones that were available in the market at the time. An elegant and at the same time hunting silhouette that will never get old. A bit of an SUV, a bit of a crossover, with a sporty feel and at the same time a size that allows it to be used as a regular family car. Because the Formentor is 445.0 cm long, 183.9 cm wide, 199.2 cm behind the mirrors and 152.8 cm tall. The wheelbase is 268.0 cm, and the basic trunk capacity is 450 liters, and 420 liters are available even in the 4Drive version. And if one can transport more, the luggage space can be increased to 1,505 liters (4Drive: 1,475 liters). Hybrid versions provide a slightly smaller trunk, respectively: 345-1415 l.

Formentor enthusiasts can choose one of several equipment levels. Already in the standard version we get 18-inch aluminum rims, Climatronic three-zone automatic air conditioning, seat belt reminder system, Isofix/i-Size glasses, brake assist and traction control systems: ESC, ABS, HBA, TCS, Front Assist. distance control system, Lane Assist, cruise control (ACC) and full LED lights. One of the top versions features 4 matte black exhausts that deliver an enhanced, radium and inimitable “CUPRA” sound.
